Welcome

travel journal, allen trottierThis is the travel blog of Allen Trottier. I'm venturing away from home, Vancouver, for an extended travel experience. The plan is to leave in the early spring of 2010. I currently have no idea where I'm going, and I don't know for how long I will be gone. Join me through my pre-trip planning all the way through to the journey itself.

How to Animate your Banners

First, lets take a look at your options when you're going to make your banners. A "static banner" is a banner that basically doesn't move. Like a flyer, a static banner is just an image. An "animated banner" moves and changes. If you want to use an animated banner, which I strongly suggest you do, you have two options. Animated Gif or Flash.

I'm not a designer, so I found a pretty good tutorial on youtube. Watch to learn how you can create your own animated Gif banner:

As for Flash, if you don't know how to do it yourself I highly recommend hiring a designer to make it for you. A good designer might be a bit costly, but its well worth the money compared to the return you'll get from the banner. If you need a Flash banner designer that focuses on Nightlife, email me at allen (@) clubZone.com
